I’m Benjamin Stewart, founder of BS AUTOS AND DIAGNOSTICS LTD. My journey in the motor industry began as an apprentice HGV technician at Pullman Fleet Services with Wincanton Logistics. After five years of intensive training and earning my HGV Class 1 licence — followed by seven more years of professional experience — I knew it was time to build something of my own.
In 2012, at age 27, I took the leap. Armed with a Vauxhall Combo van and a determination to offer honest, high-quality mobile repairs, BS AUTOS was born.
What started as a one-man mobile service quickly grew. Within a year, I brought in my friend Tony for temporary support — and he stayed for the next 12 years, helping build the trusted reputation we’re proud of today.
Our first workshop was a farmer’s barn in Clavelshay, serving the North Petherton community from 2013 to 2017. After the loss of our landlord and friend, Charlie, we began searching for a new home.
That search led us to our current site on Bindon Road — a workshop that, thanks to a supportive landlord, we transformed into a thriving hub of repairs and diagnostics. In 2022, we proudly purchased the premises, securing a long-term base for our business.
In October 2024, Tony retired after years of loyalty and dedication. With change came the opportunity to expand.
We strengthened the team with our senior technician, Nathan, whose skills and professionalism lifted the workshop to new heights. Shortly after, Mathew and Adam joined us — completing a dynamic team that shares the same passion for high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer care.
